Meet your OMbassador: Jen Collins

Jen Collins has a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and is a Certified Yoga Teacher in OMaha, NE.

“Omaha was a brand new city to me a few years back. I didn’t know anyone, but when I walked into a yoga studio, I knew immediately I was home. Not only did I feel a sense of community, but I also felt accepted and appreciated. Yoga has taught me so much about self acceptance. It led me to become who I am supposed to “be”. That being said, I am not going to lie, I was of course keeping my eyes peeled for someone special to walk into class! Online dating: check, going to bars: check, being set up on blind dates: check! It left me wondering, why can’t he just walk into a yoga class?! Being an OMbassador for YogaDates allows me to utilize my passion for yoga as an opportunity to introduce other like minded singles who are searching for the same thing! Let’s spread the love!!”

    Hello,

I was wondering what the expectation on skill level for this event is? I have a friend that works in Midtown Crossing and she has been trying to get me to do this event. My only apprehension is the skill level required because I have never done yoga before. Thanks.

Hi Mitch! Since you’re new to yoga, you can absolutely modify certain things during the class, and we’ll have others who are new to yoga, I’m sure. We can also tell the teacher so he’s aware :)
